Ipamorelin is a ghrelin receptor (GHSR) agonist and belongs to the GHRP family. IGF-1 LR3 sits further down the chain: it is a modified IGF-1 analogue with reduced binding to IGF-binding proteins, used primarily in cell and tissue models of IGF-1R signalling.
Treating them as variants of one another rests on a false premise. A GHRH analogue and a ghrelin receptor agonist examine different signalling pathways into the same system, while IGF-1 LR3 examines the downstream response.
The DAC variant of CJC-1295 is a separate compound with a substantially longer circulation time. Literature on that variant cannot be read as if it applied to the variant without DAC, and confusing the two is a common source of errors in summaries in this field.
